Nothing is certain, a lot of things are unpredictable. You cannot guess how long the good times will last, or when the bad times will come to ruin everything. You will never know what can happen to your job, to your business, and to your worldly possessions the next day. One minute they are strong and stable, and the next they collapse like a Tower of flimsy cards. The wise person will always expect the unexpected, and will do well to be perpetually ready for the uncertainties that can happen. Start by saving money during the good times, and to always have other sidelines apart from your usual job. Never invest all of your valuables in one place, you may never know when that one will fall apart!
