In all things be true to you. Be yourself, be authentic, and don’t compare yourself to others. This is the only way that you can truly have a happy and fulfilling life. When you try to be someone else, it’s usually because you’re unhappy with who you are. The problem is that when you change your personality or try to be someone else, it doesn’t solve anything. It can make things worse because then you’re pretending to be someone else instead of dealing with what’s bothering you.
In all things, speak your truth with clarity and loving kindness. Know that nothing is happening to you, but everything is always happening to you. You are safe at this moment. You are loved by all of creation. Your soul knows exactly what it needs to do at every moment in time. You do not need to know what you are here to do; your soul already knows. Trust yourself and let go of the need to control your life. Accept every experience as it comes, knowing that this too shall pass and that you have a beautiful purpose in life.
In all things seek the light for the light shall guide you in all ways. The light shall lead you to the path of wisdom and knowledge. Seek the light in all things, for it will guide you in all ways. Seek the light of understanding and wisdom, for it is the only true way to knowledge. Seek the light of faith and love, for it is the only true way to peace. Seek the light of joy and happiness, for it is the only true way to happiness. Everyone is connected to the Universe and each other through this universal energy that flows through everything in existence.
That which has come before is no longer. In life, some experiences shape you. They may be good or bad, but they are always powerful. Some experiences create a small shift in who you are; some create a dramatic change. In all things, even in the darkest moments, there is hope and beauty to be found. It may not be easy to see at first, but it’s there. Whether you are facing the loss of a loved one, a job change or something else unexpected, you can find meaning and purpose amid your pain.
All that has come before has brought you to where you are now, this moment. All of the experiences, all of the love, all of the pain, and all of the joy that has come before have brought you to where you are now, this moment. Everything that has happened in your past has brought you to this very point in time and space. Every thought and feeling you have ever had has led you to this exact moment in time and space. You are here. This is who you are now. Your past does not define who you are but it does give context to what is happening now. It gives context to why you feel the way you do about certain things, why some things make sense for you and others don’t, why some people make sense for you and others don’t, and why some ideas resonate more deeply with you than others do.
Look to the light beloved one for there are choices, decisions, and much to be grateful for. Sometimes it is difficult to find the light. Sometimes it is hard to see past your pain and sorrow. Sometimes you feel like you are alone. However, beloved one, you are not alone. You have the Universe who loves you, cares for you, and longs to listen to your heart’s cry and hear your prayers; It knows your pain, It knows how much you hurt.
All that has come before attempts to weigh you down, attempt to distract you from where you truly desire to be, to have, to do. You have a choice. You can choose to stay in the past and be weighed down by it, or you can let it go and move forward with your life. The past is only useful if it helps you create a better future. If your past is full of pain and suffering, then let it go! It holds you back from being all that you can be. You cannot change the past but you can change the future by changing yourself today, right now.
There is only you who holds you where you are, no other holds you. You are the creator of your world. You decide whether you want to live in misery or joy. Your thoughts create your experience. You can either choose to be happy or sad depending on how you think about things. You are the one who defines your boundaries and sets the limits of your life. You are the one who determines how far you can go and how much you can achieve in life. There is no one else who can take the credit or blame for what has been done, or will be done by you in life.
True, others may have contributed to the place in which you find yourself. True, others may have contributed to the place in which you find yourself. But, if you are like most people, you have a spirit that is far greater than the sum of its parts. You have been gifted with a mind capable of thought and reason. You possess emotions that allow you to feel love joy and happiness. You possess a body that allows you to walk, run, jump, and dance. You can see, hear, taste, and smell. You can even touch people with your hands or kiss them with your lips.
Look within accepting choices made bringing you to where you are. The right choice is often the hardest one to make, but it’s never wrong. It is your duty to live a life of full expression; it is your birthright as a human being. The good news is that you can make new choices to change the outcome of your life. You may not like what’s happened, but it’s important to remember that there is a reason for everything that happens. And although the events and people in your life are not always the best, they serve a purpose.
In the light of the dawn, all is made new, all is made whole. In the light of the dawn, you can see your flaws, and your mistakes, and know that these are not who you are. You can see your strengths and know that these are who you are. In the light of dawn, you can forgive yourself and others for their flaws, and their mistakes, and know that these do not define them. In the light of dawn, you can forgive yourself for your flaws and mistakes and know that these do not define you either.
Blame not others; blame not yourself for you chose as wisely as possible in the moment of the choosing. You cannot change what has happened. You cannot change what others have done. You cannot change the choices they made; you can only change your responses. And while you can take responsibility for those choices, you need not be burdened by them. Breathe deeply into your heart space until you feel centered again; then open your eyes to the world around you.
Each breath, each beat of your heart; each thought brings forth new pleasures, another beginning. The choice to love is always present and available, even when the circumstances seem impossible. Choose differently for in choosing differently that which you choose manifests different choices. Choose to see what you have chosen to see. Choose to feel what you have chosen to feel. Choose to be who you have chosen to be. Choose again, and again, and again. Each breath is a new beginning. Each step is a new step forward or back depending on how you choose it to be.
